About the Role:

The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth for our independent jewelry sales division by effectively managing and nurturing client relationships. This position is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and converting leads into loyal customers through consultative selling techniques. The representative will work closely with established accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must be comfortable handling in-bound customer calls, making outbound phone calls, traveling to multiple trade shows throughout the year, qualifying prospects and closing sales while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls and emails.
  • Engage with potential and existing customers through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings to understand their needs and present suitable products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to identify customer pain points and provide effective solutions.
  • Manage incoming customer calls, servicing existing accounts and processing orders
  • Close sales and achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with the sales executives and sales team to strategize on lead generation and follow-up processes.
  • Following up on leads in a timely manner
  • Resolving customer issues by problem solving, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Use SAP to set up new accounts and process new orders
  • Travel and support customers and the sales team at jewelry trade show

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the find jewelry trade industry preferred
  • Prior sales/customer service fine jewelry experience preferred
  • Must have a car and be willing to work 5-days onsite
  • Ability and willingness to travel to trade shows, multiple times per year over weekends
  • Proven experience in making outbound phone calls
  • At least 2 years working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Outlook & SAP system experience a plus
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively
  • Positive-minded and energetic disposition
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Displays good judgement and decision-making skills
