We are looking for Millwright Mechanic to join our team in Arizona!
Copperstate Machine and Industrial Services LLC is looking to grow its installation team as the company expands to serve clients across the United States in the water and wastewater industry.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work for a growing organization and be a meaningful part of the team that is renovating, replacing, and innovating water and wastewater processing equipment for municipalities all over the United States. Successful applicants will receive relevant training specific to the role.

Essential Duties:
• Promptly troubleshoot, process, and mechanical problems
• Perform basic maintenance, repair, and calibration
• Overhaul machinery by tearing down equipment and repairing or replacing damaged machine parts
• Operate mechanical equipment to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs
• Care for and use hand tools in the repair of equipment and structures
• Perform all general preventative maintenance duties such as greasing, oiling, etc.
• Dismantles machines & equipment to gain access to problem area, using hand/power tools
• Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs
• Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of the product
• Order parts needed for special projects, routine maintenance requirements, spare parts, tools and equipment needed
• Keeps management informed of activities
• Responds to plant emergencies
• Perform in a safe manner that is in accordance with the site-specific safety program
• Ensures the safe operation of equipment, systems and facilities
• Repairs wastewater systems, equipment, and components
• Know how to work with crane operators

Requirements
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and other types of malfunctions of machinery and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step by step instructions
• Knowledge of application, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to fly and travel to job sites around the U.S. 5 to 10 days a month
• Valid Driver’s License to drive company trucks and trailers when required
• Background and drug testing

Physical Environment
• Lift tools, machinery parts, and other objects weighing up to 80 pounds each
• Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to work all day outside on job sites for 12hrs

Schedule
• 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday (shop hours)
• 8 to 12hr work days while in the field

Work Location
• Shop, Queen Creek Arizona
• Field Work, multiple locations nationwide

Education
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Preferred
• Industrial Mechanic experience (2 years)
• Machinist Experience running mills, lathes, and drill press
• Welding / Fabricating experience (Mig and Tig)
• Able to read blue prints
• Industrial painting experience
• Water and wastewater maintenance experience
