Role Summary:

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals and treatment standards, the Physical Therapist will perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. This role includes direct supervision of patients, indirect oversight of rehabilitation technicians, and general supervision of physical therapy assistants, all in compliance with state practice regulations. Responsibilities must be carried out in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and service standards.


Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Licensure: A current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practice is required.

Certifications: BLS certification is mandatory. All required certifications must be up to date before independently caring for patients.

Preferred Experience: Ideally, candidates will have six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, with a preference for experience in adult and geriatric patient care.

Physical Requirements: The role necessitates the ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift, along with the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job duties.
