Position: RN-CVOR-Cardiovascular Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular surgeries ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during procedures.

Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.

Collaborate with surgical team to maintain a sterile and organized operating room.

Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Contribute to achieving team targets and improving patient care quality.

Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families about procedures and care.

Adapt to new technologies and methodologies in cardiovascular care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and new team members.
Experience/Qualifications

Hold a valid RN license in the state of Alaska.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a CVOR setting.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting patient vitals during surgery.

Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical protocols.

Experience in documenting surgical procedures and patient information accurately.
