About the Role
Jairus Marketing is looking for a skilled Medical Copywriter to join our growing team. This position begins as part-time (up to 20 hours per week) with the potential to become full-time. The role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in medical and healthcare writing and is confident producing content for business-to-business (B2B) marketing, even though the end audience will be direct-to-consumer.
You will be responsible for coordinating and producing a wide range of content across channels, including email campaigns, social media posts, blog articles, case studies, newsletters, SEO content, and website copy. This position works closely with the account management team to align all writing with client goals and strategies.

You are passionate about healthcare and digital marketing, and you know how to translate complex medical information into engaging content for non-specialist audiences. You are highly organized, collaborative, and committed to producing excellent work on tight timelines. You can manage multiple projects at once and are eager to learn and grow as part of a fast-moving team.

Responsibilities
- Write and edit original content for digital marketing channels including email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, social media, case studies, whitepapers, and website content.
- Apply best practices in SEO and channel-specific formatting to ensure optimized and effective content delivery.
Collaborate with account managers to develop strategic content aligned with client objectives. - Conduct thorough research and competitive analysis to inform content creation.
- Proofread, edit, and format content to meet quality standards and client brand/style guidelines.
- Deliver content that is accurate, engaging, and tailored to the appropriate audience.
- Contribute to content planning processes and identify opportunities to improve workflow and strategy.
- Support the evolution of the role into a full-time position as business needs expand.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in medical or healthcare copywriting, with proven ability to produce B2B content.
- Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, communications, writing, digital media, or a related field preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples across digital formats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change.
- Experience working in a startup, full-service digital agency, or within the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
