Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and agency policies.
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and disease management.
- Document all nursing care and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Previous homecare or community nursing experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Farmington Hills and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
