This opportunity seeks an experienced MRI Technologist skilled in advanced imaging techniques to provide high-quality diagnostic services. This contract role is based primarily in Greensboro, NC, with potential travel to nearby sites in Burlington and Greensboro, offering a dynamic work environment within a network of imaging centers. Candidates should be prepared to work three 12-hour day shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with flexible scheduling across the week for coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures with precision, including assisting with breast biopsies and supporting research studies.
- Independently start IVs and manage patient care throughout imaging processes.
- Maintain thorough documentation using EPIC EMR systems.
- Adapt to work assignments across multiple locations as required, ensuring consistent patient service and operational support.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- ARRT MR certification is required.
- Minimum 5 years of MRI technologist experience for contractors; candidates interested in permanent hire positions should have at least 1 year.
- Additional expertise in breast biopsy assistance and research protocols preferred.
- MRSO certification is an advantage.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
