Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where applicable)
- Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Open to new graduates or those with years of clinical experience
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
- Clinical needs as required by the office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office/Doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
- To maintain a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement and must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. Not applicable in Florida and Tennessee.
