We are seeking an experienced Mechanical BIM Coordinator / Piping Detailer to support the design and execution of complex construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and coordinating detailed 3D models for mechanical piping, process piping, and plumbing systems, ensuring constructability, efficiency, and alignment with project requirements. This is a highly collaborative role working closely with project managers, field teams, and other trades to deliver high-quality, coordinated models that support successful project delivery. Develop and coordinate 3D BIM models for mechanical piping, process piping, and plumbing systems Optimize system routing to improve constructability, reduce material usage, and enhance efficiency Identify and resolve design conflicts through coordination with internal teams and trade partners Interpret construction documents including plans, specifications, and submittals Participate in BIM coordination and project meetings to align on design and execution strategies Generate layout and point files for field installation tools (e.g., Trimble, Topcon) Support model uploads, version control, and documentation including RFIs and coordination logs Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, fabrication teams, and subcontractors Assist junior detailers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
