Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for a licensed School Psychologist to serve students across K-12 grades in a public school setting located in Port Lavaca, TX. The position runs through the end of the school year with excellent potential for renewal. Candidates must hold an active State School Psychologist License and be prepared to work full-time, with a schedule of 30+ hours per week, five days a week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active State School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with students in Grades K-12
- Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations, counseling, and supporting student academic and behavioral needs
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students in elementary through high school
- Provide individual and group counseling interventions
- Develop and implement behavioral plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
