We are a busy Dermatology practice in Colchester, Vermont seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team in our Rutland, VT location.
The ideal candidate would have at least one year experience in a medical office with a mixture of clinical knowledge and administrative knowledge.
Job Description 
<ul>
<li>Greeting patients for check -in, check-out and answering phones.</li>
<li>Posting payments.</li>
<li>Demographic and insurance entry/edit.</li>
<li>Appointment scheduling.</li>
<li>Medical records, processing referrals and any other duties assigned.</li>
<li>Maintaining a clean, neat and hygienic work area.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate documentation in chart according to office protocols.</li>
<li>Accurate documentation and attention to detail</li>
</ul>
Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.</li>
<li>Must be friendly, professional and well organized with attention to detail.</li>
<li>Customer service 1 year (preferred)</li>
<li>EHR experience 1 year (preferred)</li>
</ul>
Job Type:
<ul>
<li>Full-time: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:30am-4:30pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30am-3:30pm</li>
</ul>
Education:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
</ul>
