Job DescriptionThe ScienceTeam at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “LAB Technician II”.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, operate, and maintain nonwoven process equipment.
Measure and characterize nonwoven material properties using appropriate tools and methods.
Follow and assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Perform material handling tasks, including lifting pails, moving pallets, and completing other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of technician experience in a private, public, government, or military setting.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating manufacturing equipment or working in a skilled trades role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or technical certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Process Engineering—or a related technical field.
2+ years of experience in nonwovens, fiber processing, web processing, or roll-to-roll manufacturing.
Experience in process or product development using methodologies such as 5S, Six Sigma, or Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Additional Information:
- Location: Maplewood, MN
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Pay range- $24-$27/hr. on W2 depending on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
