Now Hiring: Assistant Director – Mountain Valley Early Learning Center- Belgrade
Belgrade, MT
$20–$25 per hour (DOE)
Mountain Valley Early Learning Center Belgrade is seeking a motivated, self-starting Assistant Director to join our leadership team!
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is organized, professional, confident in childcare regulations, and ready to step into a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Qualifications:
• Experience in early childhood education required
• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain immediately upon hire)
• Knowledge of Montana childcare licensing requirements preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage staff, maintain ratios, and support classrooms as needed
• Comfortable with parent communication and problem-solving
• Positive, team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting with daily operations of the center
• Supporting staff performance and accountability
• Maintaining compliance with licensing standards
• Classroom support and ratio coverage
• Parent communication and administrative tasks
• Helping uphold the positive culture and standards of MVELC
This position requires professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and initiative. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our center and be part of a strong, supportive team.
