In this role, you’ll use your background in school-based physical therapy to assess, develop, and implement individualized care plans, helping students improve mobility and participate more fully in school activities. Ideal candidates will have:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Knowledge of IEP (Individualized Education Program) development and implementation
- Commitment to professional integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Your key responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations for students referred to the program
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with educators and parents to provide strategies for student success
- Support a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
