Job Title: Director of Warehousing and Inventory
Department: Warehouse Operations
Location/Schedule: Onsite daily Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 5 pm CST in Tulsa, OK
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Summary:
The Director of Warehousing and Inventory is responsible for developing and implementing standard warehousing processes and improving our inventory control procedures at all warehouse locations and for managing daily operations here at our Tulsa warehouse. The Director of Warehousing and Inventory reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with the manufacturing department to ensure continuous build parts support for efficient operations and to implement and replenish line-side supermarkets in production.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by developing, coordinating, and enforcing standard operating procedures at all warehousing locations.
- Function as the company’s Safety Champion in all areas of Warehouse Safety. Oversees compliance with company’s HSE and forklift certification programs.
- Ensures inventory accuracy by implementing inventory control processes, overseeing cycle counting and other inventory control functions.
- Manages the warehouse team at the Tulsa headquarters.
- Controls inventory levels by planning and coordinating physical counts. Identify parts shortages and communicate reorder requirements to Purchasing.
- Sustains warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
- Ensure proper preparation of manufactured and distributed product orders for shipping.
- Work closely and communicate with others.

- Develop warehousing and inventory control standards for all company facilities.
- Provide assistance in establishing standards and processes at all company facilities as part of Shared Services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· 10+ years’ experience managing warehousing and inventory controls in support of manufacturing.
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in the use of computer resources for data entry into ERP system and ability to use common Microsoft Office applications.
· Knowledge of IT systems for material management and control such as Sage 100, Scanforce and E-shipping,
· Solid working knowledge of standard inventory management forms and procedures
· Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· High energy self-starters with a commitment to do everything with excellence are required for this position
· Valid Driver’s license
· Previous experience in the operation of sit down and stand-up forklifts.
· Ability to move, lift and carry 50lbs or more without assistance in order to safely move stacked enclosures and back pans from storage location to point of use
· Ability to work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, ice and wind)
· Ability to perform frequent reaches overhead and below the knees, including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting with or without bearing weight.
· Ability to stand and/or walk continuously throughout shift
· Positive attitude and willingness to work with a team with a commitment to continuous improvement
Status and Travel
- This position is categorized as Salaried/Exempt
- The Director of Warehousing and Inventory primarily works at the corporate headquarters in Tulsa, OK and oversees operations at that location
- Travel is expected to other company locations within the continental United States for the purposes of establishing, improving, and auditing processes, implementing new inventory control technologies, and conducting training for warehouse and inventory control employees
