This contract position in Folsom, CA offers a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support children with speech and language disorders in a school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech and language challenges in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Provide engaging therapy sessions to address speech and language targets
- Carefully monitor and document patient progress to ensure effective care
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate services
- Involve families in the therapy process to promote consistent support and understanding
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure is mandatory
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for California
- Masters degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology is essential
