Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position in Folsom, CA offers a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support children with speech and language disorders in a school setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech and language challenges in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Provide engaging therapy sessions to address speech and language targets
  • Carefully monitor and document patient progress to ensure effective care
  • Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate services
  • Involve families in the therapy process to promote consistent support and understanding

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure is mandatory
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Additional Requirements:

  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for California
  • Masters degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology is essential
