Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
A large manufacturer in Anderson, IN is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers for night shifts. The role involves learning and working throughout the distribution center, which includes picking, loading, and receiving tasks. This is an open-ended contract with the potential for permanent positions for standout employees.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from designated locations based on order specifications.
- Safely operate an electric pallet jack to transport products throughout the warehouse.
- Use scanning equipment to ensure correct items are picked and track inventory.
- Double-check picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Place picked items onto pallets in a secure and organized manner.
- Pull pallets off the conveyor.
- Scan pallets using the provided equipment.
- Utilize the SAP system to determine the appropriate door for each pallet.
- Transport pallets to the designated door using a sit-down forklift.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the loading process.
- Use the SAP system to identify the correct door for incoming shipments.
- Unload shipments from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
- Stage the area for the next order by tucking the tails, ensuring tags and labels are correct, and putting items away.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during the receiving process.
Essential Skills
- Willingness to operate an electric pallet jack.
- Willingness to learn and operate a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to work in cold temperatures.
- Self-motivated and ability to stay on task.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with RF scanners.
- Picking experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience with an electric pallet jack.

Work Environment
The work environment is a 45-degree warehouse, with all necessary cold weather equipment provided, including bibs and gloves. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans, with steel-toed or composite-toed shoes required. Employees work on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with morning shifts running from 6 AM to 6 PM and night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, after an initial training period.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anderson, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
