Job Title: Fulfillment Technician II
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment by accurately picking, labeling, packing, and shipping medication orders.
- Collaborate with the inventory planner to monitor, manage, and reconcile medication and commodity inventory levels.
- Restock commodities and supplies used during pick, pack, and ship activities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Consistently meet or exceed performance standards aligned with predefined metrics and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in fulfillment operations, and communicate recommendations to supervisors, team leads, and managers.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all aspects of the fulfillment technician role and serve as a resource for other pharmacy technicians and fulfillment team leads.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by pharmacy leadership to support evolving business needs.
- Interact professionally and collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely provision of services to patients.
- Maintain active pharmacy technician licensure and certification, including completion of required continuing education.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and professionalism in a high-volume, call-heavy pharmacy environment.
- Support cross-functional workflows by having the aptitude to assist with pharmacy technician tasks such as data entry, case updates, and phone-based patient or provider communication when needed.
- Adhere to all relevant pharmacy regulations, company policies, and quality standards while handling prescription medications and patient information.
- Effectively manage individual workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture by helping colleagues, volunteering for additional responsibilities such as overtime when appropriate, and proactively learning new tasks.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.27 - $27.27/hr.
