Job DescriptionMedical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Medical Onboarding Specialist***

  • Minimum three years of experience in Medical onboarding required to be considered.

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23507).
Responsibilities:A Day in the life of a Medical Onboarding Specialist:
• Provides first-hand support and organization of the day-to-day operations for all on-boarding processes.
• Ensures adherence to company policies, accreditation guidelines, and state and federal government requirements.
• Responsible for the processing of various compliance screenings such as driving records, background checks, Office of Inspector General reports for new hires when hired, new hire health screen clearances; I-9 reporting/tracking using E-Verify.
• Responsible for processing nuanced onboarding compliance screening and audits such as extended background checks, specialty NRC clearances, Child Advocacy, etc.
• Ensures data integrity, provides end-user support, and furnishes ad hoc and production reports as necessary.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to update and maintain Talent Management systems and applications for the health system regarding onboarding.
• Develops custom reports and metrics to meet the needs of the department.Supports programs and systems according to a defined strategy and plan, including the creation and delivery of key deliverables, reports, communications, and other support resources. Coordinates contingent labor program administration, including entering information in --HRIS, and tracking contingent labor activities.
Requirements for the Medical Onboarding Specialist:

  • Required: Minimum of three years work experience in a Medical Onboarding specialist role
  • Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Onboarding Specialist:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Preferred: Education or experience in People Operations preferred
  • Preferred: Experience using HR technology systems preferred


Benefits:

  • $23.00-$27.00 an hour(depending on experience level)
