The Pilot Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the recruitment and hiring of pilots who reflect our culture and meet all qualifications.

This role partners with Flight Department leaders to meet staffing needs, supports recruitment events, and ensures a smooth candidate experience.

Location and Details:

This position will be based at our office in Cleveland, OH OR Dallas, TX.

  • Travel is required for this role - approximately once a month

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Flight Department Leaders to develop recruitment strategies based on staffing levels, aircraft delivery schedules, and other operational needs.
  • Drive recruitment and sourcing efforts through creative channels such as direct sourcing, job fairs, networking, online postings, social media, and employment agencies.
  • Manage the recruitment process from candidate sourcing and screening to job offer acceptance for all pilot positions.
  • Prescreen candidates for alignment with company culture, salary expectations, and role requirements.
  • Represent Flexjet by attending aviation events and career expos to attract top talent.
  • Partner with flight team by attending in person pilot interviews conducted on a weekly basis.
  • Initiate and drive creative sourcing strategies.
  • Oversee the technical interview process in partnership with the Flight Operations Team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the recruitment system, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Track recruitment metrics, such as time to fill, offer acceptance rates, and resumes reviewed, to continuously improve the hiring process.
  • Support recruitment efforts across other departments as directed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1- 3 years of professional experience in recruitment.
  • Aviation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and personable approach to candidate engagement.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Creativity and a proactive mindset, with the drive to explore innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment purposes is an advantage.
