Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time physical therapy position is available within a K-12 school setting in Renton, WA, offering a rewarding opportunity to support students physical development and well-being. This contract role runs through the current school year, providing a stable and engaging professional experience with a caseload of 18 students spanning elementary through high school.
Location & Schedule:
- Onsite itinerant role serving multiple school locations within close proximity (Foster High School, Showalter Middle School, Cascade View Elementary, Thorndyke Elementary, Tukwila Elementary)
- Approximately 24.5 to 26 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate up to 30 hours weekly
- Contract duration until June 16, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students to support their individual educational and physical goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Manage a diverse caseload while traveling between multiple schools within the district
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Physical Therapist License or willingness to obtain licensure required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and itinerant responsibilities
