Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Torrington, CT, supporting middle and high school students. This contract role extends through June 11, 2026, offering 8-10 hours of onsite work per week with an emphasis on licensed and certified professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as required by Connecticut regulations
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Connecticut Education Certification appropriate for school-based service delivery
- Ability to work onsite exclusively; virtual supervision is not permitted under Connecticut policy
