Bookkeeper | Lansing, MI
Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Process payroll, including wages, deductions, and related tax filings.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations promptly and accurately.
- Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries and ensuring data integrity.
- Assist with tracking and reconciling inventory costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Generate basic financial reports, such as Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes for financial reporting.
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and experience with ERP systems.
- Solid understanding of inventory valuation methods and cost accounting principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing (e.g., job costing, inventory valuation).
- Prior experience assisting with inventory management and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of fixed asset tracking and depreciation for manufacturing equipment.
