Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary Physical Therapist position is available to provide services in a school setting for Extended School Year (ESY) from July 6, 2025, through August 7, 2025. This contract role is located in Boston, MA, and supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services aligned with individual student education and therapy plans during ESY.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapy staff to support student goals.
- Document therapy sessions and progress accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations.
- Safe Care Certification is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and school personnel.
Schedule Details:
- Contract duration: 7/6/25 to 8/7/25.
- 30 hours per week (6 hours daily, Monday through Friday).
