The Role

Our client is seeking a Regional Manager of Client Services & Engagement to lead a dynamic service team and elevate the client experience. This role is based in Birmingham, AL, with oversight responsibility for one other office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the client service team in achieving operational goals, delivering outstanding client experiences, and supporting financial advisory teams.
  • Develop, implement, and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across service functions.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, and career development for service team staff and team leads.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between client service and senior leadership, advisory teams, custodians, and third-party vendors.
  • Play a key role in integrating newly acquired offices and teams into the client service structure.
  • Maintain active relationships with select client households, providing a point of contact for troubleshooting, scheduling, and service coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Client Services to identify and implement firmwide service improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Paraplanner or similar) strongly preferred.
  • 57 years of experience in an administrative or service role within a financial advisory or investment environment.
  • Leadership experience is a must. Ideally, 3+ years of team management experience within an RIA or similar financial services organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead through change, coach team members, and resolve client service issues with professionalism and poise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, client-first mindset.
