Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full Time

The Role:

As an Auditing Clerk you play a key role in auditing charts under the direct supervision of the Nurse Care Team and Auditing Manager. The goal for each Auditing is to review charts daily. Additional responsibilities include:


  • Reviews patient charts daily for errors and deficiencies
  • Understands the operating process of the urine drug screen and how to chart patient information
  • Reviewing STD’s results/informing provider/NCT for further treatment plans, and relaying this information to the patient when needed.
  • Tracking/updating patient charts with addendums with regards to out-of-range blood lab.
  • Completing/sending letters for “Discharge/Self Discharge” or results regarding positive/out-ofrange blood labs
  • Communicating with State and county Health Departments
  • Compiling information for the monthly tracker
  • Works within the EMR system
  • Brings charting concerns to management attention and looks for resolutions

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements to be considered:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience with personal computers (word processing and/or electronic spreadsheets).
  • Preferably one year or more of experience in office work
  • Maintain MA licensing through the state/agency (as applicable per state).
  • Previous healthcare related work experience preferred.
