Job DescriptionAre you ready to take your skills to the next level with a company that keeps rail travel running smoothly? We’re hiring Qualified Persons (QPs) to support our passenger rail maintenance operations. In this hands-on role, you’ll be part of a team that ensures our passenger cars and locomotives are safe, reliable, and ready for service—day in and day out.
You'll work closely with our experienced Passenger Rail Mechanics (Qualified Maintenance Persons, or QMPs) to inspect, repair, and maintain rail equipment to the highest standards. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-driven, and ready to grow in a critical industry, we want to hear from you!
SCHEDULE: The exact days will be determined based on the candidate availability and WEEKENDS will be included.(1) Nights- 8:30 PM- 5:30 AM(2) Days- 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM What You’ll Do:

Troubleshoot and repair essential passenger rail systems—everything from brakes and lighting to HVAC and electrical panels.

Perform septic and water services on railcars.

Handle electrical maintenance: testing, repairing, and maintaining batteries and components.

Connect/disconnect 480V ground power cables and set up blue flag/blue light protection.

Clean rail cars and locomotives, keeping equipment in top condition.

Accurately complete all required paperwork and inspection reports.

Communicate findings clearly with supervisors.

Be ready for overtime, weekends, holidays, and dynamic schedules.

Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Always put safety first—and wear all required PPE.
What You’ll Bring:

Valid driver’s license.
