Job Title: Soldering Technician
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Wire Assembler, where you will be responsible for wiring harnesses from start to finish. Collaborate with a team of approximately five people and work across all areas of the wire assembly section. While you will receive work instructions, you must be proficient in crimping your own wires.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire harnesses from start to finish.
- Work collaboratively with a team of around five individuals in the wire assembly area.
- Read and interpret work instructions and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Crimp wires independently and ensure high-quality assembly.
- Possess the flexibility to work in various areas of the wire assembly department.
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in wiring.
- Proficiency in using crimping tools.
- Experience with electrical and electronic assembly.
- Knowledge of soldering and soldering techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in building wiring harnesses is an advantage.
- Ability to identify different thicknesses (gauges) of wires.
- General electronics/electrical assembly experience is beneficial.

Work Environment
Work in a spacious and air-conditioned manufacturing shop, ensuring comfort throughout your workday. The regular working hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with minimal overtime. Saturday shifts are from 6am to 2:30pm, as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77064.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
