Position Overview
Reporting to the HR Director of Americas and matrixed to the VP of HR, the Global Payroll Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across various international locations. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with local labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies, to ensure that all payroll activities are conducted ethically and efficiently. The Supervisor will collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide support for audits and reporting requirements. Additionally, the role involves continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ultimately, the Global Payroll Supervisor contributes to employee satisfaction by ensuring that all payroll-related matters are handled with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple countries such as (US, Canada, European) ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide accurate reporting.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of payroll systems and processes.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- There will be some administrative tasks to support the HR function.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration and addressing inquiries
- Attention to detail to identify and rectify discrepancies in payroll data
- Experience with payroll software and systems, such as ADP WFN required, and experience with ADP Celergo is a huge plus!
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a global context.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in multiple countries.
- Certification in payroll management (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities to facilitate communication with international teams is an advantage.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to sit for longer periods of time as well as move about throughout the office and machine shop environment.
- Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear when touring the production floor.
