Job Title: Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer (Echo)
Location: Long Island, NY
Type: Full Time
Shifts: Days
Work Location: On the road
Travel: Required - Smithtown, Suffolk, Nassau, New Hyde Park and Queens Village
Setting: Inpatient Clinic

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Tech will be assigned a group of primary care centers in a geographic area to provide advanced testing to patients scheduled by the doctor. You will work either ½ days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) at your scheduled clinic site each day and will become an important member of the clinical team. Although we serve all ages 16+, we focus in on adults 50+ making our echo & sonograms service line for advanced testing a very important service line for our patients.

Requirements:

  • Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Ultrasonography

  • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association

  • 3+ years of work experience in general ultrasound (cardiac and vascular)

Experience:

  • Echocardiograms: 3 years (Required)

  • Abdominal & Vascular Sonography: 3 years (Required)
