Position: SPED – Long-Term Substitute
Location: Leesburg, VA 20176
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Schedule: Day Shift | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 19 Weeks | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $34–$39/hr

Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking SPED – Long-Term Substitute for an exciting job in Leesburg, VA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals and existing lesson plans

• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior supports

• Support students in individual, small-group, and inclusive settings

• Maintain classroom routines, documentation, and progress data

• Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families as needed

• Ensure compliance with IDEA and school/district policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Virginia SPED license or long-term substitute eligibility preferred

• Experience working with students with disabilities

• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred

• Prior long-term substitute or SPED experience

• Familiarity with inclusive practices and behavior support plans
