Real Estate Tax Manager (Remote)
Salary Range: $130,000 - $175,000

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Tax Manager with deep expertise in real estate taxation, particularly in cost segregation analysis and 1031 exchanges. This is a high-impact, fully remote role offering significant upward mobility. The firm has recently acquired a substantial new book of real estate clients and is looking for a strategic tax leader to assist with onboarding and servicing these accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tax planning and compliance for a diverse portfolio of real estate clients.
- Advise on complex real estate transactions, including 1031 exchanges and cost segregation strategies.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and entities involved in real estate.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Stay abreast of evolving tax laws and regulations affecting the real estate sector.
- Mentor and develop junior staff in real estate tax best practices.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's preferred.
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum 5 years of tax experience with a strong focus on real estate.
- Proven expertise in cost segregation studies and 1031 exchange transactions.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and state real estate tax regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
