Job Title: Admin HR/ Personnel Security Specialist- Walter Reed
Location: Bethesda, MD
Department: Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
Additional: Onsite (5) five days a week (no remote or telework)
Contract: WRNMMC
Period of Performance: Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $33.55 per hour + additional $4.93 an hour health & welfare benefit= $38.48 an hour
Clearance Requirement: Must be able to pass a National Agency Check.
Additional: Must have experience in the following, and experience MUST be shown on resume:
e-App/ e-QIP, processing of security clearances, and DISS experience.

Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with management processes within
Human Resources (HR), Personnel Security, standard and non-standard clerical and
administrative duties to support the command personnel security program, including the
preparation of background checks and identifying and analyzing situations.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Must have a High School Diploma, or Associate Degree, or higher. ·

Knowledge of and the ability to qualify for access to Government Information Systems containing critical
sensitive and Privacy Act data (i.e., Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), DISS,
Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e/App /e-Qip Direct, etc.) Ability to use
microcomputer, moderately skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.

General familiarity with the concept of relational databases and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). General
familiarity with basic process improvement methodologies and tools and organization and time
management skills. Ability to learn the department's policies and procedures and apply them as
applicable. ·
- Attention to detail. Ability to maintain an appropriate professional demeanor when
dealing with staff and customers. ·
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills ·
- Ability to complete tasks independently ·
- Familiarity with Oracle HRIS applications and DMHRSi program is preferred but not required.
This position is a five-day-a-week, onsite position—no remote or telework.
