Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist pleting their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to support students in a K-12 school setting in West Sacramento, CA. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment, providing speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
- Experience working with children or students in educational settings preferred.
- Strong munication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a school team and engage with students of various ages and needs.
