Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience working as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or in a similar support position within a school setting
• Familiarity with providing 1:1 assistance to students, including those with specialized learning or behavioral needs
• Ability to support both special education and general education environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Energetic, reliable, and flexible approach to adapting to diverse classroom situations
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of relevant coursework or certifications is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer individualized or small-group instruction and support to students under the direction of certified teachers
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
• Provide accommodations and modifications to foster inclusion of students with diverse learning needs
• Support classroom management and cultivate a positive, productive learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with staff and participate in team meetings, as appropriate, to enhance student progress
• Document student performance and share observations with educational teams
