Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and finance managers to analyze financial data and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for tax filings and assist with audits as required.
- Monitor compliance with company financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Update and maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills and professional integrity.
