Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based opportunity for two Speech Pathologists is available in an elementary school setting in Joliet, IL. These roles involve supporting a diverse student population, including those in Supported Education, Multi-needs programs, and students requiring speech-only services. This contract position offers full-time hours with a structured Monday through Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students across 1.5 caseloads.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
- Support students in various educational settings, addressing a range of speech and language needs.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, particularly with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to manage caseloads including Supported Education and Multi-needs students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Position Details:
- Location: Elementary school in Joliet, Illinois.
- Contract duration: ASAP through May 22, 2026, for full-time (1.0 FTE).
- Part-time opportunities available temporarily until March 27, 2025.
- Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, 37.5 hours guaranteed.
