Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for a Physical Therapist to support the diverse needs of K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Virginia, MN. This full-semester contract role is ideal for professionals mitted to enhancing the physical development and mobility of school-aged children through targeted therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school guidelines.
- Assess student needs, develop and implement therapy plans, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support student achievement and well-being.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ply with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license with current credentials.
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and educational acmodations.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to individual student needs and school environment.
