Our client is currently seeking a R&D Project Manager.

We are seeking an experienced Research & Development Project Manager to lead formulation projects from concept through commercialization. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical professional with a strong scientific background and deep experience in product development, testing, and manufacturing environments.

You will manage cross‑functional R&D initiatives, oversee lab‑based formulation work, and ensure projects meet performance, quality, and regulatory requirements. This position requires both scientific expertise and solid project‑management capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects from initial concept through scale‑up and launch.
• Develop, modify, and optimize product formulations across assigned categories.
• Conduct laboratory testing, evaluation, and performance analysis of new and existing products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth transition from lab to production.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, documentation, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot formulation and process issues and recommend technical solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends, raw materials, and emerging technologies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovation pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing environments such as chemical, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, polymer, paint, or similar industries.
• Strong background in product formulation, including hands‑on lab work, testing, and evaluation.
• Proven experience managing technical projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with scale‑up, pilot runs, and production transfer.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry
• Knowledge of raw materials, additives, and performance testing methods.
