Location: Plant Bowen – A Southern Company / Georgia Power Site
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience and interview)
- Shift: 4 days on / 4 days off
Position Overview
We are hiring Haul Truck Drivers, Off-Road Dump Truck Operators, Water Truck Drivers, Dump Truck Drivers, and Laborers to support operations at Plant Bowen, a Southern Company/Georgia Power coal-burning site. This position involves moving clay, dirt, and ash throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
Off-Road Dump Truck Drivers & Equipment Operators will:
- Operate 40-ton Volvo articulated dump trucks
- Operate water trucks to suppress dust and maintain air quality
- Safely haul and unload materials such as dirt, sand, gravel, and ash
- Follow all site safety rules and environmental standards
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Support general labor as needed to ensure smooth project operations
Requirements
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as:
- Off-road dump trucks
- Water trucks
- Articulated dump trucks
- Standard dump trucks
- Haul truck experience preferred, but laborers will also be considered
- Ability to work long shifts in outdoor industrial environments
- Strong safety mindset and reliability

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
