About the Role:
The EVS Associate at Santa Clara Resort LLC plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of the resort to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for executing thorough cleaning protocols in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, contributing directly to the resort’s reputation for excellence in hospitality. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The EVS Associate supports the resort’s commitment to sustainability by following environmentally responsible cleaning practices. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred but not required.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and walking for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hospitality or resort environment.
- Certification in environmental services or housekeeping.
- Familiarity with green cleaning products and sustainable cleaning practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and recreational facilities to uphold resort standards.
- Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of waste, including recycling and hazardous materials, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of cleaning schedules.
