Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, starting August 27. This role serves students in grades 5 through 12 at a K-12 school located in Newport, ME. The position is on-site and offered as a contract for the entire school year.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid School-Based SLP certification
- Experience working with middle and high school students (grades 5-12) preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school policies and state regulations
- Participate in meetings with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams as required
