Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person, with travel within Surry area up to 25%
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with some weekend options as needed

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! If you are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on children's lives and eager to learn, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities:

Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings

Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA

Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging

Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation

Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members

Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment
Requirements:
-
High school diploma (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)

Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety

Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
-
Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate
