About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Electronics Technician/Assembler to join a manufacturing team in Irving, TX. In this role, you will assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components while supporting testing, calibration, quality inspections, and production activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with assembly experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble instruments and components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and limited automated equipment.
- Perform testing, calibration, and verification procedures to ensure product accuracy and reliability.
- Inspect components and finished products for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
- Complete production documentation, including material control records and non-conformance reports.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and safety guidelines.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting daily production goals.
- Assist with training team members as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and measuring equipment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and mathematical aptitude.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with FDA, ISO, GMP, cGMP, or quality systems.
- Experience with testing, calibration, inspection, or troubleshooting activities.
- Mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly experience.
