Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization in Plainview, New York. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of financial systems.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Oversee budgeting processes and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Utilize accounting software systems, including 3M and Crystal Reports, to streamline financial operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve CRM workflows related to financial data.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing using ADP financial services.
• Monitor financial trends and provide insights for long-term planning.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Support the organization in meeting regulatory requirements and external audits.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including 3M and Crystal Reports.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
• Experience with ADP financial services and CRM systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on budgeting and forecasting.
• Familiarity with implementing and maintaining internal controls.
