Welcome to Lōkahi Counseling Center LLC, a locally owned and operated group practice where we value a culture of learning, integrity, autonomy, support, and togetherness. We foster this growth through group supervision led by an experienced supervisor with over 20 years in the field.

If you have completed your master's in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or any other discipline in the mental health field and are fully independently licensed in the state of Hawaii and are ready to grow more than you thought possible, we invite you to join our amazing, dedicated team. You will work with a diverse population of clients, from individual sessions with kids to adults, families, and couples. This variety keeps the work interesting and allows for growth in all areas while at the same time fostering your autonomy.

We practice evidence-based treatment and are looking for Clinicians who have at least one year of experience practicing Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, and/or ACT.

Job Types: part-time position with a minimum of 5 Clients a week.

Schedule:

  • Choose your own hours
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

We are looking for a qualified Therapist to join our team and provide emotional and mental health support to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing counseling services. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of psychological principles and be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide individual, family, group and couples therapy sessions virtually and in person
  • Evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain professional boundaries with clients.
  • Keep up to date on advances in the field of mental health.
  • Supervise Interns
