RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts with firm coverage requirements
\n• Call shifts Monday-Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 AM, averaging 10 days of call per month
\n• Weekend shifts are on-call and vary based on staff availability
\n• 36 hours of orientation provided
\n• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Must be able to circulate procedures and perform hemodynamic recording/charting
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Daily census averages 10 patients with 5 procedure rooms and 8 beds
\n• Required certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Cerner EMR experience preferred
\n• Must be comfortable with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, electrophysiology lab work, and cardiac implant procedures
\n• Experience needed with IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker/defibrillator procedures, and various cardiac interventions
\n• Knowledge of antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, and procedural sedation required
\n• Must be proficient in sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, and infection prevention protocols
\n• Expected to work some holidays with RTO required
\n• On-site drug screening required
