Job Description

American Trades Contracting is currently seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for a low-voltage in Cluade, TX. If you are an electrician with 3+ Years of experience and are ready to join our team, we would like to hear from you!

$100 per diem a day - for qualified out-of-area workers

Must be will to work 50 - 80 Hours each week!

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years’ experience

• Demonstrated analytical ability

• Ability to manage multiple projects and/or tasks

• Proven organizational planning skills

• Ability to act and think independently

• Exceptional time management and basic mathematical skills

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to pass a hair follicle an UA drug screening and background check

• Must have reliable transportation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for several hours at a time.

• Must be able to work long hours

• Must be able to work on a manlift and ladder.

• Work on a construction site

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• An understanding of circuitry.

• Know how to use a multimeter.

• Understand Class A and B circuits and the differences between them.

• Terminate and trim fire alarm panels, booster panels, and devices.

• Understand how to read blueprints.

• Understand relays, how they work, and how to properly terminate them.

• Understand what a ground fault is and how to locate one.

• Knowledge of fire alarm code.

• Must own your own tools or be willing to purchase them.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• EST fire alarm experience.

• EST fire alarm programming experience.

• NICET Certification.

• VESDA installation experience.

We offer competitive pay, as well as benefits (including health, life, vision, and dental insurance) and paid vacation that begins to accrue after 60 days. Pay is $20 up to $28/hour DOE.
