Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active and current California OT license
  • Prior experience or clinical fieldwork in educational or school-based settings
  • Strong understanding of special education and standardized assessments
  • Familiarity with educational terminology and the special education process
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to K–12 students across multiple school sites (assignments and case loads may vary)
  • Conduct evaluations and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve educational goals
  • Maintain updated and thorough documentation within special education requirements
  • Utilize knowledge of CDE guidelines for OT best practices
