\n\nRequired Qualifications – Surgical Technologist / CST\n

- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist certification\n
- Licensed Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado (required)\n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association\n
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital operating room or perioperative setting\n
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently\n
- Basic computer skills to complete online learning and access facility forms/policies\n
\n\nKey Responsibilities – OR Surgical Tech / Perioperative Technologist\n

- Assist during surgical procedures and maintain the integrity of the sterile surgical field as an OR tech\n
- Provide instrumentation and pass supplies to surgeons, applying expertise in sterile and aseptic technique\n
- Apply knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures to support perioperative patient care\n
- Ensure proper packaging, processing, and integrity of sterile instruments and equipment\n
- Monitor the sterile field for contamination and initiate corrective actions when needed\n
- Work toward competency or demonstrate competency with Tier 1 surgical cases\n
- Participate in Time Out Process, OR briefings, and debriefings; communicate effectively with the perioperative team\n
- Assist with patient transports, room turnovers, and OR preparation between cases\n
- Maintain professional behavior, HIPAA compliance, and model principles of a Just Culture\n
- Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization and support sterile processing workflows\n
